Trace Roller, Founder & Principal
Trace Roller is the Founder and Principal of Tidewater Public Affairs, providing federal and state advocacy, funding, and strategic advisory services to public, nonprofit, and mission-driven organizations. With more than 25 years of experience and strong bipartisan relationships, he works closely with clients to advance priorities, secure funding, and navigate complex government processes.
Trace brings experience across Congress, federal agencies, and state and local government, with a track record that includes more than $500 million in competitive grants and federal appropriations secured for clients and communities nationwide. His practical approach and understanding of government decision-making help clients identify opportunities, develop effective strategies, and move important projects forward.
Prior to founding Tidewater Public Affairs, Trace held roles in the Texas House of Representatives, Texas Department of Agriculture, and U.S. House of Representatives, providing firsthand experience in policymaking and stakeholder engagement. Today, he serves as a trusted advisor to organizations nationwide, helping clients advance funding, policy, and community development priorities..
